What is Soft Launch?

We’ve seen your comments, your theories, and yes, your “when can I play?” posts. 😅 We get it, and we can’t thank you enough for being this excited!

We’ve talked about a Soft Launch for LOVE & MAGIC: SPELLFYRE, but what does that actually mean? And more importantly, when will you finally be able to play the game?

🚀 What Soft Launch Really Means

When we say Soft Launch, we don’t mean a single release day. It’s more like a few key phases that help us make sure the game is ready for everyone.

🧪 Phase 1: Technical Test

This is our “Does It Explode?” phase. It doesn’t matter how much internal testing we do, we can’t predict every possible thing that players will think to do (on purpose or on accident) once they get their hands on the game. And if the game does explode, that’s okay. We’ll fix it right up.

LOVE & MAGIC: SPELLFYRE is about to enter in this phase! 🎉

📖 Phase 2: Story & DLC

During this phase, the game is only available in a small market, and our team makes sure every choice, every character beat, and every romantic moment lands with pure magic and delight. This is also when we'll test our DLC systems to guarantee new chapters arrive on a regular schedule, because this is a world that will grow over time.

This phase is all about delivering a truly exceptional game, one that is worthy of your time, attention, and imagination over the long haul.

🌟 Phase 3: Closed Beta

This is where we’ll be testing ads, talking to reviewers, and inviting a small group of players from our community to help us polish the final build. If you’ve ever wanted to help shape LOVE & MAGIC: SPELLFYRE, this could be your chance!

We're still working out the logistics for the closed beta, and we'll share the details on our social media pages when we have them. Make sure you're following us so you don't miss it!

🌍 Phase 4: Global Release on iOS and Android

Global Release = everyone, everywhere, all at once.

TL;DR When Can I Play?

The final pieces are falling into place, and we hope to move through the phases of Soft Launch as quickly as possible. We can't predict the exact timing because each phase introduces new variables, which is why we haven't set a specific release date yet. As soon as we clear Soft Launch, we’ll be able to push the button for Global Release.
