What is the Dreamscape?
In LOVE & MAGIC™: SPELLFYRE, the Dreamscape is one of the most important elements of the magical world… and one of the most mysterious. The Dreamscape is a manifestation of an arcane’s subconscious that they enter when they sleep, a place shaped by their thoughts and memories.
The precise nature of the Dreamscape is subject to intense scholarly debate. Is it a psychic void that exists only in your mind? Is it a plane between the realm of the living and the realm of the dead, glimpsed in passing as you fall asleep? No one knows for certain… but there are a few things we do know.
Dream Magic
Using Timoros magic, powerful arcanes can exert control over the Dreamscape. They can bend it to their will, pull another person into a shared experience, or even enter another arcane's Dreamscape to snoop around.

Dreamscar
Dreamscars are special places in the Dreamscape that attract many dreamers, resulting in people having the same dream, often over and over again. Some common Dreamscars include a hallway where you’re being followed by a monster, a beach with a giant wave bearing down on it, and a deep pit full of snakes.
Veilfall
Veilfall is one of the most important holidays of the year, a day for remembering and honoring the dead. On the night of Veilfall, those who are lucky may be visited in the Dreamscape by the spirit of a passed loved one, which is why many believe the Dreamscape is connected to the afterlife.
Memories
While never proven, some arcanes have claimed to have visions of the past in the Dreamscape, often in precise and accurate detail. No one knows why this happens, but it seems connected to places of great power…
